TAFFETAS PRISMATIQUE
French all-silk fabric, plain weave, in coloured stripes of rainbow effects. The cloth is passed between heated engraved rollers in which the engraving consists of fine lines to fit the colour bars. The furrows cause light to be reflected in a prismatic effect.
